Minty Delivers reserves the right to charge an additional $10 delivery fee on any order where the customer was not present to receive the order. During checkout all customers are asked to specify a time for delivery that fits within their schedule. This is for your own convenience as well as ours, because our drivers are very busy and cannot afford to make repeated stops for the same order.
The Minty Web Site may contain bulletin board services, chat areas, news groups, forums, communities, personal web pages, calendars, and/or other message or communication facilities designed to enable you to communicate with the public at large or with a group (collectively, “Communication Services“). All items purchased from Minty are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to a carrier upon our delivery of the item to the carrier, and then to you upon acceptance of delivery from the carrier.

Minty strives for 100% customer satisfaction. We will always do our best to make sure you receive the exact item purchased on our website. However, from time to time the exact item you purchased may not be available and in this case Minty will provide you with a similar product that may be slightly different from the one requested. This may include (for example) exchanging one brand of whole wheat pasta for another, however the specifics of each product will be the same. In other words if a customer ordered Barilla Whole Grain Rotini 425g, but this was unavailable at the time for delivery, the product delivered might be Catelli Whole Grain Rotini 425g.
Although we do our best to ensure each product has an image that accurately reflects the exact details of that product, from time to time there may be inconsistencies in the product image shown on our website and the actual title and details of the product. In this case, the title and product details shall be deemed accurate, so we advise you to please read all product details carefully before making your purchase to ensure that you are ordering the correct item. An example of an inconsistent image would be a case of 12 cans of pop, where the image shows just one can.
By registering as a customer of Minty on the Minty website, you hereby acknolwedge and accept that you will receive weekly flyers from Minty that contain various specials on Minty products. You will be able to opt out of this email by clicking on the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any such email. The weekly flyers are different from our newsletters which you are able choose whether or not you’d like to receive upon registration.
Except where noted otherwise, the listed price as displayed relating to products on our Web Site include the full retail price listed on the product itself, as suggested by the manufacturer or supplier, or estimated in accordance with standard industry practice; or the estimated retail value for a comparably featured item offered elsewhere. The list price is a comparative price estimate and may or may not represent the prevailing price in every area on any particular day. If an item’s correct price is higher than our stated price, we will, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before shipping or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation.
In the case of fresh meat and produce, when sold by weight, we will do our best to provide you with as close to an exact weight match as possible, however the weight may fluctuate from your ordered weight. For example, if you ordered exactly 1kg of ground beef, you might receive 1.05, or 1.1kg. Conversely, you may receive 0.9 or 0.95kg of ground beef.
Please note that this policy applies only to products sold and shipped by Minty. Your purchases from third-party sellers are charged at the time you place your order, and third-party sellers may follow different policies in the event of a mispriced item.
All listed prices DO NOT include sales tax (taxable products are marked with a “T” and the amounts are only visible during the checkout process).
Periodically, Minty offers coupons which may be applied when placing an order. The coupon code is entered by the shopper during the checkout process. One coupon only may be applied per order. Each coupon may be used once only and must be used before its expiration date. When applying the coupon to the order, the order subtotal must exceed the minimum order value shown in the coupon, as the coupon will be applied only to the cost of products and cannot be used to cover delivery charges, when applicable.

Although we will always do our best to get your groceries to you at the time you specify, sometimes we are extremely busy and your order may be delayed. For this reason we ask that you give us a minimum of 2 – 3 hours between when you place your order and the time you would like to receive your groceries.
Minty is proud to deliver to the entire Halifax Regional Municipality. From downtown to Eastern Passage, Tantallon and Hammonds Plains, if you vote in the HRM elections then we’ll deliver to you! All orders are charged a $6.99 delivery fee which is added to your order before you checkout. The only requirement we have is that each order must be a minimum of $25.
